1 BASIS OF USE OF www.greekfoodorigins.com
1.2 These terms & conditions govern your use of site in general, the products that you purchase on site and all services provided in connection with them.
1.3 These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
2.1 To register on site you must be over 18 years of age.
2.2 You must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any other time are correct and complete.
3 PASSWORD AND SECURITY
3.1 When you register to use www.greekfoodorigins.com you will be asked to create a password. You should keep this password confidential and not disclose it or share it with anyone. You will be responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted under your password. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting customer services immediately (paragraph 20 below).
3.2 If we have reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of this site, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account in accordance (paragraph 18 below.)

4.1 The content of this site is protected by copyright, trademarks, database and other intellectual property rights. You may retrieve and display the content of site on a computer screen, store such content in electronic form on disk (but not any server or other storage device connected to a network) or print one copy of such content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the materials or content on site without written permission .

5 ADVERTISING AND SPONSORSHIP

Third party advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on site complies with relevant laws and codes. We will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising and sponsorship material provided by third parties.
6 AVAILABILITY OF SITE
6.1 Although greekfoodorigins.com aims to offer you the best service possible, cannot guarantee that the service will be fault free. If a fault occurs in the service you should report it to the customer services (see paragraph 20 below for contact details) or by email at email@example.com and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.
6.2 Your access to the greekfoodorigins.com site may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as we reasonably can.

7 PURCHASE TERMS
The terms in this Part B apply to any purchases that you make on this site.
8 DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICES OF PRODUCTS
8.1 We have taken care to describe and show products as accurately as possible. Despite this, products may vary from their descriptions. If there is anything which you do not understand, or if you wish to obtain further information, please contact customer services (paragraph 20 below).
8.2 If, by mistake, we have under priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the product at that price. If you decide not to order the product, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy (paragraph 14 below.)
8.3 All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.
8.4 The price of a product does not include the delivery charge, which will depend on the delivery method you choose and will be added during checkout.(paragraph 11 below. )
9.1 All products advertised are subject to availability and while stocks last.
9.2 We try to ensure that we always stock the full product range and will let you know if the product is out of stock. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular product, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged or are refunded for that product.
9.3 In the interests of all our customers, we may place restrictions on buying of some products.
10 ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS
10.1 Your order is an offer to buy from us.
10.2 Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of your offer unless we send you an email notifying you that we have dispatched a product. At this point a contract will be made between us for you to buy and us to sell the products that you have ordered from us. Where products are dispatched or made available to collect in store separately, our acceptance of the order in respect of each product takes place when we notify you by email of such dispatch.
10.3 After the time the contract is made, you cannot amend your order (but please see your right to cancel an order in paragraph 12 below).
10.4 At any point up until the contract is made, we may decline to supply a product to you. If we decline to supply a product to you and you have already paid for it, we will give you a full refund of any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy in paragraph 14 below.
10.5 If you order products to be delivered to your country, you must acknowledge that the products are acceptable and approved to be imported to the country of destination / delivery.
10.6 The buyer exclusively is for any reason fully responsible for any items or packages (or parts thereof) that may be confiscated by customs authorities, and acknowledges and agrees that greekfoodorigins.com is in no way responsible if, for any reason, the order is not delivered to its destination.
10.7 Some of the products available on this website may not be allowed in your country. It is your responsibility to conform to these restrictions.
10.8 Countries with additional requirements in delivery:
CANADA –> Alcohol consignments must travel under airfreight to the province of destination as it is not allowed with normal UPS network. For these shipments, please contact greekfoodorigins.com
USA –> FDA usually allows 2 bottles of alcohol as maximum quantity, if sent as a personal shipment. If personal shipments are being shipped regularly to individuals, a permanent permit may be required.
Please also note that retail shipments up to 200 USD are allowed if the receiver is the person that made the order and 100 USD if the receiver is a third party (e.g. if sent to said third party as a gift)
AUSTRALIA –> Quarantine permit required by importer. (only for foodstuff and olive oil). Alcohol is not restricted. Duties and taxes are mandatory charged on all shipments (approx. 40% of the value + freight cost)
JAPAN –> For wine shipments : If shipment’s weight is less than 10kgr sender must include certificate of origin issued by the concerned authority, stating ingredients, manufacturing process, details of wine producer etc.
Honey: Must travel as airfreight to the province of destination as it is not allowed with normal UPS network. For these shipments, please contact greekfoodorigins.com

UNITED KINGDOM –> In general there are no restrictions but sometimes it is advised to be avoided too much quantity ordered for one product e.g. three bottles of olive oil in one order.
SWEDEN –> In general there are no restrictions but sometimes it is advised to be avoided too much quantity ordered for one product e.g. three bottles of olive oil in one order.
10.9 Shipments carried, or handled, by us may be subject to security screening which could include the use of x-ray, explosive trace detection and other security screening methods and you accept that your shipment may be opened and the contents of your shipment may be examined in transit.
10.10 You declare that we have prepared the shipment for carriage, or for the performance by us of other services, in secure premises using reliable staff employed by you and that the shipment has been safeguarded against unauthorised interference during preparation, storage and transportation immediately prior to acceptance for carriage of the shipment by us or for the performance by us of other services.
10.11 We may be required to share information, including your personal data for your shipment with the shipment destination country authorities or transit country authorities for customs and / or security reasons.
We assume that you have selected the means of transportation that fit your needs and we are not liable for any differences that may occur in order that do not exceed weight of 2 kgr where express delivery might be cheaper than economy.
11.1 Delivery will be made to the address specified when you complete the order.
11.2 Whilst we make considerable effort to deliver all your products within 5-7 business days of the date of your order, we shall not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control. We shall contact you to let you know if we are having any problems getting a product to you within that time.
11.3 Our products are dispatched via Courier Service (a package tracking service is available) and you will be required to sign upon delivery.
11.4 Orders given on weekends or holiday will be processed on the next working day.
12 WITHDRAWING YOUR ORDER
12.1 You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
12.2 The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the goods or:
(i) in the case of multiple goods ordered by you in one order and delivered separately, the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last good;
(ii) in the case of delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces, the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece;
(iii) in the case of contracts for regular delivery of goods during defined period of time, the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires physical possession of the first good;
12.3 To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. via e-mail). If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. via e-mail) without delay.
12.4 To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
12.5 If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
12.6 We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
12.7 If you have already received goods, in case of withdrawal you shall send back the goods or hand them over to us to (see paragraph 20 below) without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
12.8 Your right to cancel does not apply:
(a) for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
(b) the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
(c) the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery;
13 FAULTY PRODUCTS
If your products arrive damaged or faulty, you may return them and obtain a refund or replacement product. Be sure to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us of the issue so that we may advise you on how to proceed with their return and procure you with details of our replacement and refund policy.
14.1 If an order is not received or if a product received is either faulty or damaged, then a return claim must be submitted via e-mail to email@example.com , within 20 days from the date the goods have been dispatched.
14.2 Following this, there will be a process of investigation and if this results in a satisfactory conclusion of what has been claimed by the customer, then a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number will be issued for the customer and only then can faulty goods be returned.
14.3 If you require exchange or return because the product is not to your liking or is not as expected, except for the case when you have changed your mind regarding the purchase, then the return shipment cost and other charges will have to be met by you. In order for the procedure to be completed, the products must firstly be received by us in the original condition in which they had been shipped.
14.4 The following options are available:
Credit: The amount of the transaction performed, at the value the currency you chose had on the day of the transaction, will be credited to the appropriate account.
Refund: In the case of a refund, the transaction will be performed in the same way that the payment was made (e.g. if the payment was performed with a Visa, the refund will also be credited to a Visa).
15 PAYMENT METHODS
Accepted payment by credit card, Visa or Mastercard, and by Paypal. Your credit card will be charged with the total value of the goods ordered, as well as shipment costs, once your order has been confirmed. Alternatively, a bank deposit can be done in our bank account, following an order by e-mail and once your order has been confirmed, by depositing the total value of the goods ordered, as well as shipment costs.

We may update these terms & conditions from time to time. If you do not wish to accept the new terms & conditions you should not continue to use this website (including purchasing any products on www.greekfoodorigins.com ). If you continue to use www.greekfoodorigins.com after the date on which the change comes into effect, your use of this site indicates your agreement to be bound by the new terms & conditions.
17 RIGHT TO SUSPEND OR CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT
17.1 We may suspend or close your account immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms & conditions. In any case, you will receive a written notification thereon. You will not be able to order products on www.greekfoodorigins.com if your account is suspended or closed.
17.2 The suspension or closure of your account and your right to use www.greekfoodorigins.com shall not affect either party’s existing rights or liabilities.
18 OUR RESPONSIBILITY
18.1 The website is provided without any warranties or guarantees. You will bear the risks associated with the use of the internet.
18.2 The website provides content from other internet websites or resources and while we try to ensure that material included on our website is correct, reputable and of high quality, we cannot bear responsibility if this is not the case. Greek Food Origins is not responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information or for any technical problems you may experience with www.greekfoodorigins.com . If informed of any inaccuracies in the material available on the website, we will attempt to correct those inaccuracies as soon as we reasonably can.
18.3 In particular, we disclaim all liabilities in connection with the following:

18.4 If we are in breach of these terms & conditions, we will only be responsible for any losses that you suffer as a result, to the extent that they are a foreseeable consequence to both of us at the time you order the relevant product or the time you otherwise use this website.
18.5 For safety reasons we do not accept credit card information via e-mail, fax or telephone. greekfoodorigins.com bears no responsibility for any fraudulent use of your credit card or any other means of electronic payment transactions by third persons.

19.4. The use of this specific contract is governed by the provisions of Greek Law.
